Snorkelling Mystery Bay

How to get there: Follow the Princes Highway south from Narooma for approximately 10 kilometres, then turn left onto Mystery Bay Road. There's a wonderful diving area around the rocks, or try the huge, sheltered rock pool a little north of Mystery Bay Beach. Head north through the primitive camp ground. You'll find a track that heads right. This will descend quite steeply as it gets to the pool.

Historic Mystery Bay Velodrome

A scenic track takes you on a loop from Mystery Bay, through the camping ground, and to the historic Velodrome - built in the late 1890s by the enthusiastic Corunna Cycle Club. There are many tracks in the campground that lead to vantage points where the spectacular emerald green ocean can be seen, as well as great views of Montague Island and the interesting geology of Mystery Bay. You can catch a glimpse of many interesting native animals that regularly wander around the campground and National Park. When you reach the velodrome, ride around it to become part of history. It is a mown grass oval track some 400 metres in length.

Bellbird Scenic Drive Tilba Tilba

Turn off the Princes Highway 20 kilometres south of Narooma onto Corkhill Road for the Bellbird Scenic Drive. The drive begins at the village of Tilba Tilba. Here you can visit the wonderful Foxglove Spire Gardens and specialty shops.

Tilba Brewing Co

Tilba Brewing Co. is a family-owned craft beer business based in beautiful Central Tilba, nestled between the lush green foothills of Gulaga National Park and the pristine beaches of the NSW South Coast. They produce fine ales in collaboration with another South Coast-based family business, Stoic Brewing. Their Prospectors Amber Ale recognises Tilba's gold mining heritage. The discovery of gold along nearby Dignam's Creek in 1892 led to the creation of the Mount Dromedary Gold Mining Company, which operated in the Tilba area from 1878 to 1910. Remnant's of the miner's equipment can still be found in the foothills of Gulaga. It is a smooth copper-toned ale with malty caramel and biscuit flavours complimented by bright citrusy hops. Their Palace Pale Ale ale is a tribute to the iconic Dromedary Hotel, the best pub in Tilba since 1895. Originally called The Palace Hotel, legend has it the Drom was built with the timbers of old whaling boats from nearby Bermagui. The Palace Pale Ale delivers bold tropical flavours backed by a light malt body. Tilba Brewing Co beers are exclusively available on tap and in cans from the Dromedary Hotel in Central Tilba and by the can from carefully selected local establishments.
